housing benefit and 17 yr old son working

Hello last Sunday my long term partner of 16 yrs left me. I work part_time at the moment and my son who's 17 is training to be a chef. Do you think we would be entitled to any housing benefit as I will struggle to pay all the bills. Son isn't at college and not an apprentice.

Any advice welcome :)

I think it depends on how much your rent is and how much you earn between each other. Im sure there must be an online calculator which might give you a rough idea?
