We finally got our mortgage offer. Yippee!!!! We were very worried about the MMR, and that it would be more difficult.
We went through a broker, and yes, the lender wanted so much more information. Even tiny errors are scrutinised. But we managed to fix them all, and we got there in the end. We first contacted the broker at the end of April. So the whole process took about 7 weeks. Both DH and I are in full-time employment.
So… all I can say is, it might not be as bad as it first seemed.
