Can someone explain to me (in very simple steps) how to find out if I'm entitled to anything from being mis sold PPI. Confused

I had a barclaycard credit card back when I was a student, then an egg card. Dh and I got a mortgage with nationwide (although sure that didn't have PPI). We also had a loan for car finance via the dealership. Is there anywhere else I Should investigate?

And now the big question... How do I do it? Confused

I have no idea about account numbers for the credit cards, and changed address a few times since.

Can anyone help? :)

There's an excellent guide on the www.moneysavingexpert.com site which takes you through the process. You can approach companies that you had loans with and you don't need the full information to get started.
