Since late April I have been trying, as the rest of you have, to defer my student loans. However, it has been an uphill struggle, since they are continually shifting the goal posts. Their latest tactic is to completely ignore my 3 letters of complaint, and send me a letter demanding the same kind of evidence to defer, which is contrary to the !998 student loans act. Either they are totally incompetent or they are playing a very subtle game because eventually deadlock will be reached and the F.O.B will step in. Unless of course this coalition government is about to pass some new legislation, shifting the goalposts towards those vultures?
