Health Cash Back Plan - any good?

Looking to get a health cash back plan. I have read that HSA comes out quite poor in terms of cash back.

Also noticed that some have a qualifying period of a few months - is that the case for most of them?

Has anyone got a suggestion of a good plan that you are using?

THF (it might be called Health Shield now)

Most have a qualifing period 6 to 9 to 12 months (esp fro pregnancy)

I have one through my work with foresters. I have found them to be pretty good. I took it out about 3 months before I got pregnant with my ds2, claimed my maternity money, it pays for all my optical & dental treatment in a year and the kids too. I have also claimed complimentary therapy on it for a chiropracter when ds2 was tiny. What I found it most useful for is private consultations if NHS waiting lists are too long as I get 80% of the cost back. For my family, and especially my ds2, who have been very poorly, it has been well worth having
