Can I return a bra that bruises my chest?

I bought 5 bras in debenhams at about £30 each. All Freya.
Anyway one of them digs into my chest, it leaves red marks and feels bruised after wearing.

Can I return it? And on what basis?

Were you fitted?
I have no idea the correct answer but I once returned a bra I'd worn a few times to Bravissimo because the wire came too high into my arm pit & was really uncomfortable. I had been fitted though so as far as I was concerned they hadn't done their job properly.

I was fitted on the day but not in debenhams.
Even if I had been I wouldn't have known how uncomfortable it was until I'd worn it for a few hours
