Would it be on a credit scoring if it was done v recently, and where could they send it so he couldn't intercept the post.. this is for a friend btw!

We have a seperate account for our bank loan (which thankfully will be paid in full at the end of this month!)
So not sure really, unless she goes into the bank and asks to see an account balance and say she's not sure which account it is and could the assistant guide her?

I know this won't be easy in most places, but I live in a small village located in the rural backpaths of nowhere and most of the bank staff/post office staff know us all... not a huge throbbing metropolis like London

poo, the account us in his name only.. would they do that?

If it's secured on the house, she should have been asked for her approval. If not, you can ask the credit reference agencies for your own report which may show up dh stuff as someone to whom your finances are linked at the same address. But not sure they'd send it to a different posting address - Data Protection Act and all that?

Alliebongo - I got my H's credit file online using just his National Insurance Number and date of birth!
Easy peasy.... They just send you a password.

cant you just open his post ?

I did this with my MIL as she was having all her post sent to my address despite living in Spain. Obviously to give the impression she lived here. Turns out she took a £15k bank loan at my address - unsecured admittedly but still. She still hasnt told us about it
