Hello

I am trying for a baby but wonder how many ladies out there continued to and to how many months ? I mean I would like to continue working for a few months if I get pregnant. How safe is working while pregnant ? there is not much information on this subject out there :/

Most jobs are perfectly safe, as others have said. Your employer should carry out a risk assessment and this might lead to a change in duties, e.g. less lifting if it is heavy stuff. I know that frontline police officers are often moved to a desk-based role because of concerns about them being kicked/punched in the course of their work.

I am office-based (but with some travel, both national and international) and plan to work as late as possible, ideally 38 weeks+, to maximise time off afterwards, although the flying will have to stop in the later weeks.

I stand all day at work, planning to work until 38weeks then take two weeks holiday, to have as much time off with baby as possible.
