i'm what you call a credit card tart but i'm wondering how things work if the next 0% balance transfer card doesn't give me a high enough credit limit...can i still transfer my debt or not?

You can transfer up to the new credit limit.

Check out Martin's money tips. He has lots of suggestions for card tarts - all serious and non-derogatory! See here .

Yes,Martin's the one who introduced me to credit card tarting originally. However,i'm a little worried that i'm not going to be able to transfer the whole of my debt to another card this time.

Transfer to two new cards?

Most cards are now looking for a transfer fee of around 2% too so try & get one that isn't charging. I think the Post Office were one of them.
