What happens? housing benefit question...in relation to term time work.

On a whim, I applied for a lunch time supervisor position at my children's school today.

My DH works full time, we are in receipt of housing benefit.

I understand that the council can adjust things to take in to account a second job, what happens if it is term time only though?

It is for 1 hour a day , 5 days a week. At about £6 per hr.

Not a great deal of money, but obviously must be taken in to account in relation to our claim.

Of course, I might not get it Wink

Hopefully they'll work out your income for the year and divide it by 52 to reach your weekly wage.
