Teacher overpaid by London borough

Hi all

I am a teacher and have just checked my payslip to find I've randomly been paid £1000 more than usual.

Payslip sheds no light on it at all

Any idea how I pay them back?

Contacted HR at school and will phone borough once they open.

Anyone have any experience of this or why it may have happened?

Hi, have you managed to sort it out? I'm a teacher too and it happened to me once. It turned out it was right and was a reimbursement from when I went from part time to full time. Fingers crossed your overpayment is right!

Easiest would be for them to do a manual adjustment to your next pay.
