Can I claim the full amount of an unsecured loan on my rental property - my parents lent me some money to go towards the purchase and I'm paying them back monthly, interest free.

You can only claim loan interest (not capital repayments) as an expense. So if it's interest-free, you can't claim any of it.

Sorry another question! I made a loss last year which I want to carry forward this year. Last year, everything was split 50/50 with my partner, this year everything is in my name. Can I claim the entire loss or just my share from last year?
