I know this has been done before on here - but it was last year - and I've only got one referal as I was one of the last to see the thread .

So if anyone is interested in signing up using my link I would be very happy .

Here's the blurb you'd get if someone were to email you the link

"I've come across a site that gives you Cashback when you shop at many
of your favourite online stores. You can earn up to 30% Cashback on
your purchases at stores such as Tesco, M&S, John Lewis and Currys.
Its FREE to join and they are even giving you £5.00 FREE when you sign
up."

And this is the link - thanks.........

have a look

Actually QoQ Topcashback is MUCH better - you 100% of cashback back.

If you fancy giving TCB a go (You get £2.50 Sign-Up Bonus and I will get £2.50 referral bonus) you can use my link if you like

TCB

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 10:02

ermm no you don't - you get similar levels of cash back (averag of 7% by the looks of things - same as Freefivers). All the 100% bit means is that the money which Topcash gets back from the company you've used it all of it is given to you........

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 10:08

oh and freefivers don't take £5 of your first payment and £5 each year of your money!

OP posts:
bubblerock · 24/07/2006 10:17

I started the original thread last year and still use Freefivers - definately sign up if you haven't yet you can earn a nice sum! I won't put a link as many of you signed up through me last year - keep it bumped QoQ

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 10:31

thanks bubblerock .

anyone??? Surely some of you that shop online haven't signed up yet????

OP posts:
throckenholt · 24/07/2006 13:47

I have just signed up - but i have no idea how to use it .

beef · 24/07/2006 14:20

er Qoq - WATCH MY LIPS

you get 100% of the cashback at TopCashBack - I've been using them for ages and cN confirm this.

For instance Zurich Car Insurance at Free Fivers you get £32.50 back at TCB you get £65 - fair enough if you want the cashback site to have half you carry on, I prefer to take the full amount!

beef · 24/07/2006 14:29

Marks & Spencer
TCB 3%
FF 1½%

Boden
TCB - 8%
FF - 4%

I could go on but whats the point?

You get £2.50 start up bonus - refer a couple of friends and your yearly fiver is soon earned, in fact its soon earned when you spend through TCB - they only take from your first payout its not an upfront payment.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 15:50

I'll get £5 from FF's for my referrals once they reach a certain amount - I don't shop at M&S or Boden

Highest % cashback available at TopCash - 15% with only 4 being 10% or over
Highest at FF - 17.5% with 16 being available at 10% or over.

There are 897 retailers on FF offering cash back - doesn't look to be as many as that on TopCash.

and TBH I don't really care - if you want to start your own thread for people to sign up with your link to your precious little site - then please do - but this is my thread asking people to sign up to freefivers.......

OP posts:
beef · 24/07/2006 15:53

we don't have MY threads on a public forum and its not my 'precious little site' I merely wanted to let people know they can better shopping deal elsewhere sorry if I rained on your parade

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 15:55

but beef - are there nearly 900 shops on Topcash??

OP posts:
beef · 24/07/2006 16:04

I'm not about to count them HRH but they have all the major ones.

They are relevatively new compared to FF (who were my first cashback site) so will probably keep adding, but they are excellent (see thread on MoneySavingExpert). Their customer service is second to none and of course double the cash back

Anyone who is reading this - if you want to renew your car insurance (or anything else for matter) - before you buy, check out the 2 sites see who give you the best deal - I think LLoyds is up to £110 back on TCB there's a link further down the thread!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 16:08

but they're not double the cashback on all of them - you picked out just a few - and seen as though it has lots of sites which aren't on top cash............including the place I'm in the middle of buying travel insurance from..........

but beware on either site of "UP TO" offers......... personally I don't like ones that say "Up to" as quite often you find you won't be getting anywhere close - unless you insurance premiums are throught the roof (and also a lot of the finance ones with high cashback (on both sites) are the sites that'll cost you the most to go with....

staceym11 · 24/07/2006 16:22

oh i would love to help QoQ but i signed up last week, sorry cant help!

SaintGeorge · 24/07/2006 16:28

Gee QoQ, I know you like a good argument now and then but can't you just say thank you once in a while when someone does you a favour and points out a good deal?

Even if you think the site you use is better, there is no need to argue the toss about it really.

LemonTart · 24/07/2006 16:33

beef - I swapped to TCB too after noticed that freefivers wasn?t as good a deal as TCB. FWIW, you are correct on this one. I did plenty of research to check my facts before switching and am convinced that TCB offer a better deal all round. Prefer their whole ethos too - seem a little smarter somehow (Sorry QoQ - just think beef has a good point for anyone out there looking at their options)

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 16:34

why would I want to sign up to a new site when I'm not far off payment on an old one?? I don't buy often online - and I don't often by from the 'big' retailers - so I prefer FF's as there's obviosuly a much bigger variety so more chance of me actually finding a site offering cashback that I'll actually use.

And besides - if I were to sign up to Topcash - I could hardly post my link to get referrals as beef already has - I'm usuing FF's this time becaue I think the vareity is greater, it's better laid out and I think beefs first post was quite misleading, and I prefer a £5 sign-up bonus.

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 24/07/2006 16:38

I signed up to FF and have never used it since.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 16:39

obviously if you shop at M&S and Boden and all the 'major' stores fine go to beefs link and sign up to Topcash - if you like a bigger vareity of offers (with less misleading "Up to" ones) go to freefivers - your choicel

OP posts:
HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 16:48

anyhow seen as thou great and mighty MN'ers think I'm trying to mislead other people and getting them to sign up or a scam I've asked for the thread to be deleted.

OP posts:
beckybrastraps · 24/07/2006 16:52

Gordon Bennett woman. No-one has suggested it's a scam! Asking for the thread to be deleted! Calm down!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 24/07/2006 16:55

ahh but you see TopCash is SOOOOOO much better - so therefore I must be lying telling that it's a good site. I don't like to mislead people - and see as though a few of the great and mighty, ought to be bowed to MN'ers think I'm recommending the 'wrong' site then I shan't - simple as that. Already asked them - hopefully won't take long for them to do it.
