Does anyone have any experience of auto direct who are apparently brokers for home (and other types) of insurance? We have had a good quote for home insurance from them but the two companies they would be using (one for contents and one for buildings) are not household names - in fact I've never heard of them. Since I've never heard of autodirect, except in relation to cars, I'm a bit dubious all round but would welcome any info from Mners out there. Also, would you recommend splitting home and buildings insurance like this (we'd just be dealing with one company - autodirect - if we do this.
