Recommend an instant access childrens savings account

We are going to be receiving some cash for DD which we will definitely need to spend some of - so were looking for an instant access account.
Ideally we wanted one where we can transfer funds online but it looks like you can only do this with your existing bank?
Telephone acess would be ok - but don't want to be limited to having to visit a branch.
Can anyone recommend an account?

Most of the big banks offer simple savings accounts that you can manage online. If you open one in DD's name, however, there are often restrictions e.g branch only. However, there's nothing to stop you opening a savings account in your own name, notionally designating it 'DD's account' and then you can put money in or out any time you like, on-line as well as in person.
