Hi i am moving & i am trying to work out finances, dp has just had a payrise so i wanted to know if anyone could help with understanding how they work out how much you get.

We have 2 children, dp is on 22,000 per year so does anyone know what we would be getting if anything from working tax credits? is there a site & i can go too?

TIA

Why does the outcome say we are entitled to, £0 working tax credits & £2,357.48 child tax credit?

It all really confuses me!

Working tax credits only apply to families earning approx £14,000/pa or less - unless you have disabled children or are a disabled worker yourself, b/c it is meant to help lift people above the poverty level.

So yes, on that income, you may be entitled to Child Tax Credit, but not WTC.
