Hi guys, I'm completely new to this site or any discussion like this so please bare with me.

Having completed my annual review for Tax Credits I am shocked to see I am now getting £55.00 a week less. I expected a reduction as I did earn more last year than the previous year, I was on Income support for part of the previous year. However this seems like a very dramatic drop.

Basically I am now at complete panic stage as I was already struggling with money issues and was wondering if this could possibly be correct?

Any help Greatly appreciated Smile

No way of knowing whether its correct or not. Phone them & say that the reduction seems high & ask if its correct?

Get on the tax credits calculator and see if it adds up. If it is correct you could try the benefit checker to see if you are able to claim some housing benefit or council tax since your payments have reduced so much.

If your income rose by £134 per week, then it is correct. Any increase is taken from tax credits at a rate of 41p per £1.
