Tax Credits paid early?

I am just wondering if anyone knows if they are paying tax credits early this week for some reason? And if anyone else has had this?

My usual payment day is a Thursday. I got paid today (monday) so its not even just slightly off. Its not the exact same amount I usually get either and its about £10 difference.

I got an extra payment at my renewal a month ago, so i dont think its that.

Any advice would be appreciated! :-)

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm not sure. Obviously with renewals etc going on and them playing catch up I have ZERO chance of getting through by phone to ask... I dunno if there would be a reason for this happening though. If it was quite a big difference I would have thought it would been a one off payment, but its not a huge difference. The plot thickens! :-)

I got mine on Friday a week ago when it is normally Monday. Then I got an extra payment following my renewal in the middle of last week.

Did they mention why at all? Was it a bank holiday anywhere in the UK?

I didn't ask them. I am in Scotland but didn't know of any bank holidays.

If it's a bank holiday in the UK anywhere then everyone gets paid a day early x

If you just sent your renewal in you might have just got an extra payment to adjust? I got a whopping £7 but on the same day ( and in addition to) my normal payment.
