How do you sell a large item on ebay? (what to do about P&P)

That's it really.
We've got three large pieces of gym equipment, never used and taking up valuable space in our spare room. Thinking the best idea is to sell them on ebay but I've no idea how to do it.
TIA

you can specify home pickup only if they really are too heavy and awkward to post

We sold a stairlift and a water softener (both large and heavy), and specified Buyer to Collect. No problems and both sold quickly.

Thank you both for the quick responses. Smile

Hi! Do not offer Paypal as a payment method if you are getting people to collect it from your house. They can make a claim against you for non delivery (if they are nasty people) and because you have no way of proving you gave them the equipment they can effectively have your stuff and get a full refund from Paypal. Chances are you would have no problem with your buyer but I personally wouldn't risk it. HTH. Sally
