Has anyone had any experience of this. I have just received a letter saying they want specimen signature and ID such as passport drivers licence...etc. Is this a stalling tactic and how long after we have sent it off would be looking at receiving the money that is rightly owed to us????.x

Shouldn't take long, it's pretty standard tbh, nothing to worry about.

Most banks aren't bothering with it if it's just a PPI claim but technically they should. It won't hold things up much, don't worry.

Once a signed acceptance is rcvd they have 4 wks to process it. Worst case scenario you start the 4 week queue again.
