Hi All.

As my husband is now Totally disabled Im his carer we are having to sell the home to clear our crippling debts,we have got a landlord who wants to buy our home for investment reasons and we are going to rent it back of him which will clear all our debts and leave a little left over does anyone know what one can do with any surplus after the Pensions Credit take their cut of £2. per weel for every £1000.00 over the £6000 allowed, can we put a little into a Bond or something for our two children,so if anyone out there who knows the in and outs of our minefield Benefit system please let me know
you can contact me direct at
[email protected]

or thro this website once i get used to it.

I think you can give your children £3k each without it affecting benefits.

Marie, I think a local Citizens Advice Bureau might have up-to-date info for situations like this.
