Jury service question....not sure where to post this

I've been called up to do Jury Service. I've already deferred once because my child was receiving on going medical treatment, but that finishes soon. Can I be excused if I am a fulltime mum to a baby and toddler and have no other relatives living locally to help out? Really worried about it and don't want o leave children with a childminder just for 2 weeks

Have you looked at the court service website? That should tell you - think it's courtservice.gov.uk or something similar.

pretty sure you can get exemption if there is no one to care for your children

There is a phone number on the letter you can phone to find out. They were very helpful when I called them - not sure about the childcare thing though. I had a different question for them.

See this: www.cjsonline.gov.uk/juror/
It tells you how to ask to be excused.
