Ok Why Am I better Off Not Working??Or Working For Less Money???

Not sure how accurate entitledto.com is but if I take the job at the hosp I wil actually have £440 to live on inc all benefits etc and £333 to pay out.

If I work at the school on half the pay for term time I wil have £475 to live on with £333 to pay ot

And not working I have £289 to live on with £160 to pay out.
All income inc child benefit, tax credits etc..

Doesn't make any bloody sense to me.

sorry, i'm biased, b/c i hate working and having to juggle all this stuff at once.

But this is neither of us working. Dh is going to stay at home with kids so I can go back to work. I want to work and feel better now that I am not taking the hospital job and witing for the scol job in September

mags if you do the term time you would be £142 a week better off compared to
£129 to live off not working

but wouldnt the difference be met by fares, dinners etc

Yes I know but at least I would be doing something I realy want. The thing I find hard is the harder you work the worse off you are When dh was working he worked 50 ish hours a week and we were worse off than now

Feel better putting it all on paper coz I was feeling guilty for not taking this job so I can sit on my arse and wait for the School job.
And have just re worked it out, We will have an extra £224 a month from September coz Our car payments stop
So wil just be skint for a few more months!!
