When I found out I was expecting I contacted a benefits advisor who said I might get child tax credit, but other than that nothing would change. I just contaced DWP to tell then I'd given birth, when a friend said, a friend of hers had her ESA and DLA stopped when she notified them. Surley they can't just assume as I've had a baby u no longer need them? I'm really stressing out as I've no idea how I will cope if they stop, really struggling as it is. Anyone been in same position?, orANY help really appreciated. Thanks so much in advanced.

DLA is a non-means tested benefit, so you should continue to get this. If you're a single parent, then the ESA would change to income support. You need to pop to the CAB, they will go through all of this with you. Don't panic. Smile
