DH was married before being married to me. No kids. Got divorced in 1998.
Ex wife still goes by Mrs xxxx.
Is there any way we can make her change it back to her maiden name? As there are no kids involved there is no reason for her to continue to be Mrs xxxx.
I am thinking there is nothing we can do.

does it matter?

But perhaps she is used to being called by this name in her professional life, and by changing it could confuse colleagues or clients? If the divorce was amicable I don't think that I would swap my name back. It would be so confusing all round.

divorce wasn't amicable no. She also told a lot of people that he was violent, which isn't true and she has since admitted she was lying.
I know, what's in a name.
Just bugs me that's all.
