What about a 0% interest credit card? Have a look at \link{http://www.moneysavingexpert.co.uk\moneysaving expert} for tips for the best ones.

Katymac · 30/03/2006 22:01

Oh OK! You'll know the pitfalls to watch out for then Smile.

Is there a charge for the transfer? Barclaycard have a deal at the moment for up to £5K with 10 months 0% and no transfer charge - you have to apply via the link given on money saving expert though, or in a branch - URL is www.0for10.co.uk (it's one of those where you can't do a link on here because mumsnet.com intrudes) - not via the normal Barclaycard website.

Katymac · 30/03/2006 22:13

I'm not eligible for that as I already have that card....bummer
