please please just shop around!! I took some stuff in today - various bits of Victorian jewellery and other bits of tat that I never wear. It was literally a tiny jiffy bag full - maybe 4 pairs of ear-rings, 2 gold bangles, 1 gold wrist chain and child's silver bangle, plus 3 victorian brooches.
6 months ago I got a price of £45 from a smallish chain. Today I took it to an independent shop - and walked away with a cheque for £635!!!!!!!
Obviously I'm delighted - but just shows you should never take the first offer....
