The Abbey do one, any opinions on that ??

Mind you actually perhaps an easy access one isn't a good idea.

try moneysavingexpert.com

do you want cash card access to the account?

Have you thought about an ISA.

Actually am not sure which sort I want now.

I won't be saving huge amounts, will be putting a tenner in here and there. Am hoping to save up for a car.

I have a Cash Isa account. I put in a little every month by standing order. I have a savings book too so I can add to it when I can afford it.
I can access it at any time, and its all for me! I have never taken any money out (yet!) and I like the feeling that its there. You can save upto £3000 a year tax free too.
Very easy to set up at any bank!

An ISA might not be the best thing for this kind of saving, does your bank have savings accounts that give higher interest than cheque accounts?
