I just rang up to inform them of changes to circumstances. Didnt think it would make a difference because they overpaid me by 3k 16 months ago.

The IR call centre has just told me - after i happened to ask at the end of the call - that the overpayment has already been cleared now anyway! WTF?

Shouldnt they tell me? Im in a real sticky situation and could be receiving £80 a month but they havent told me. Apparently awards dont change/restart until April - is that right?

Yes, awards recalculated in April, together with mountain of duplicated paperwork. But the buggers want you to tell them quick as if your circumstances change - they could've let you know (or just started the payments again!).
