Has the free school meals criteria changed?

I just realised because I don't work and get CTC my dcs can get free school meals even though dp works? He isn't dcs father but that didn't seem to be the issue anyway?

This also means dss will get on the school bus. They've been refused as we're not Catholic (Catholic school) and another criteria was if they got free school meals.

Ds2 is being diagnosed for autism and I was so worried that he'd have to get public transport. I hope this is right?

So if he works you are eligible for wtc.... So no, don't think you are eligible for fsm..

CuriousMama · 05/07/2012 14:31

No he doesn't get WTC. The only award I get is CTC.

Think you're right we won't get it, never mind.

It would've helped seen as I don't get any CS from exdh. I have applied for DLA for ds2 so hopefully will get some, even low rate will help with bus fares etc... as I'll probably have to go with him for so long. Either that or take ds1 off the school bus (which we pay for) and get him to take public transport too? DS2 hasn't got a place on it yet.

On the school meals form it says CTC without WTC. Our annual family income is over the minimum amount.

I thought it was income support or JSA for free school meals now.

I think it can depend on the area?

Anyway doesn't look like we're entitled.
