I have a few questions regarding JSA

Hello. :)

I am in the processing of starting a claim for JSA and was wondering if anyone could clarify a few things for me.

1. When they ask how much is in your bank account, do they want the exact balance up to say Xp or a rough ballpark?

2. What happens if that balance goes up or down? My bank balance fluctuates a little - not by a huge amount but still a difference.

I would just put what it is on the day you fill in the form - who can ever have a completely unchanging bank account!? I think its just so that they can say 'over £5000' or under etc, not to check how much you spend at Tescos. If in doubt phone the helpline. Good luck with your job search.
