is anyone good at working out wtc/ctc pretty please?

have been on calculator can't get it it seems high

then went on website and worked it out as per their calculations but I am confused.

how can you only qualify for child tax credit and then there is a section that says wtc nad ctc

i even rang them but they wont help as dh does not start work til april.

what would the rough payments be on 16000 pa

ctc?

or ctc and wtc?

thanks in advance anyone who understands this complicated stuff

If you wait for another week or two the HMRC Tax Credits Calculator and the Turn2Us Benefits Checker will both be updated with the new rules for the 2012/13 tax year.

Try the Turn2Us link as a guide only. Your income is below the 2011/12 threshold and still below the 2012/13 threshold, so the totals it gives you shouldn't be too far from the actual
