Just wondering if it's different in different areas - sent mine off on Friday and praying it comes this week!!

Very fast - apparantly they have to give you an answer within 7 days... got my answer on the Friday, and the money on the Monday (think I'd posted it on the evening the Monday before if that makes sense?)

softmusk · 31/01/2006 18:56

mine took less than a week to come with both my dds

colditz · 31/01/2006 18:58

Oh does anyone know if having savings affects your claim? I mean about £1000, not millions!

softmusk · 31/01/2006 19:09

it didnt ask about it on the form so i take it it doesnt

zephyrcat · 31/01/2006 19:36

It doesn't mention savings So assuming it doesn't affect them - it seems to be given purely on the amount of tax credits you recieve I think.

No, savings don't affect it.

i am hoping to apply for this when i get to 29 weeks, do you get differenet amounts depending on your income etc.

zephyrcat · 02/02/2006 18:42

I think it's based on your tax credit award so, yes, kind of based on your income. I'm getting worried now though, I haven't heard anything and was counting on it!!
