Toddler's broken my bastard phone...

...and my contract doesn't expire until Jan 2013, because I am tight and wanted a cheaper tariff.

Is there anything I can do to get out of contract? I'm not even allowed an upgrade until December.

Got house insurance, but we've never claimed for anything on it before.

I dropped my phone and went to a local shop. It cost me £30 to repair. was worth it as my contract was still running.
