FSA and their Final Decisions about endowment complaints.

We complained to the FSA about our 2 endowments being mis-sold to us about 18 months ago. Last October, an adjudicator at the FSA rejected our complaint but in doing so, gave a number of reasons that even the head of the FSA (bloke called John Tiner) said that investment companies weren't allowed to use as reasons for rejecting complaints (and here was the FSA themselves using the same reasons!) Our complaint has been reviewed by the FSAs "Service Review Team" and despite us sending loads more evidence, they've still not been able to reach an agreement. (I wonder whether the adjuducator still doesn't think that we were missold our policies but the Review Team did, so that's why they couldn't reach a decision). So it's now going to "an Ombudsman" and he should reach a Final Decision (and that really is a final one, after that it's going to court and we don't really want to do that).
I just wonder if anyone has ever had their complaint go as far as a Final Decision. I'm really afraid that after all the evidence we've presented (including stuff that the FSA have broken their own rules in rejecting our complaint) that they'll still find against us.
