We were told by and given figures for a particular mortgage in December by an IFA.
We have just been told that in actual fact they are going through another company who are looking into the best deal for us. Is this all ok or the fact we thought we were getting one particular product that we were happy with be some kind of breach?
Also we had said that we wanted to complete as close to the 12th January as possible and now it seem that this is all going to drag on into February.
I am soo frustrated

I have now found out that they are going through a packager and it we were told that it was First National/GE Money lending - we have now been approved by Mortgages plc so are just waiting for the offer to come through. The problem we had was due to our credit rating dh was made redundant in March and we managed to get a payment break on our mortgage then but when going for this mortgage we were told that they counted as arrears
I'm not happy with the interest rate but it is a mortgage & we can get out of our parents soon!

Thanks,
I've found that the rates from Mplc is higher than we were given for First National. It is on a stepped rate so we can afford this year & ds starts school in september so we will be ok then! It is a mortgage though so just fingers crossed that we will get the offer tomorrow! it has come in today
