Anyone with a roughly £150,000 mortgage?

How much do you pay each month, please? We are at an extreeeeemely theoretical stage so can't be arsed with typing all our details in to some comparison website thing. Just want ballpark figures really.

You will be much better informed by doing just that - as most people will be on mortgage deals and rates that are not available anymore so will not give you a clear idea of how much the repayments will be.

We have £140000 mortgage, pay £719 per month over 30 years.

We have £160k remaining and pay £1007 a month, with 18 years remaining.

PS we could pay less if we came off the bank's svr and fixed again, but as we are looking to sell there's no point in tying ourselves in to anything just now.

Our mortgage was 160 when we took it out and we only pay £631, but we paid a big arrangement fee and I don't think such good rate are available now ( we pay 0.59%).

Yeah 2cats, I know, it's a long story! FIL has a crazy notion that we can buy his house and rent it back to him so he can get out of some financial doodoo. He's dreaming!

I pay about £480 per month - but that's just interest only and only for the first 5 years (fixed rate). After that DS's childcare costs will drop and I'll pay more.

£144k £823 per month

With current rates available etc and the likelihood of rates rising you're looking at £1,000 per month - easily double in the next 6 years as I don't think the Bank of england rate can stay this low for much longer.

Our mortgage is £184k and costs £940 a month. That is with a 75:25 loan to value. Before, it was £1200 a month for a mortgage of £201,000 on a 85:15 ratio but we have paid a lump sum off to get into the next bracket. The amount you pay will depend on how much deposit you have and the cost of the house you buy.

10 yr mortgage of 150K so approx £1315 pm at 0.49% above BoE base rate - atm 0.99% (decided on a flexible offset lifetime tracker 5 yrs ago cos we got fed up of chasing the 'best' rates every 2 yrs and very glad that we did since we have been able to port it to our next house!)

30yr (I think) 100% mortgage on a £165k property, we're paying back £800pcm & have got it down to £154k in 4 years, great interest rates or what?!

We pay £293 for £150k. Took out the mortgage when rates were very high, it reverted to 1.75% over base for the remainder of the mortgage.

No one thought the base rate would be so low.

We're paying 750 a month on 140 k. Guess which smart arse demanded a fixed rate (clue - not dp)

You can't be arsed to type numbers in an easy online calculator but you want a bunch of strangers to go out of their way to share their financial information with you?

About £650 on a twenty-five year. Mortgage is about £142,000. BUT it's on a tracker - before we were paying £1200 ish.

It so depends on the time period you are looking to pay back over. We are about to remortgage but are stuck with having to finish before DH gets to 65, so our period will be quite short and payments larger as a result.

You can do a split mortgage: part interest-only and part-repayment: this gets lower payments but of course you have to have some investment plan to pay off the balance.
