Recommend: Admiral Insurance: They answer the phone straight away, speak English, treat you like an adult, are efficient, informative, and cheap. They do a multi-car policy where you can insure two cars in one household at a discount, the insurance can start at different times, nd they covered my 17yo for a brilliant price. 
NOT recommended: an outfit called ibuyeco (yes, all in lower case 
). There seem to be about two members of staff, so if you have a query you wait around half an hour to speak to someone who then can't speak English. They are based in UK but I've had difficulty understanding everyone I've spoken to. I think I was told I had 48 hours to chenge my mind, but when I decided to add my daughter (learner) on they said they wouldn't, so I tried to cancel (within 48hrs) and was then told I'd still have to pay. Even though they weren't taking the money out of the account for another two days 
. (Bank unable to stop a debit card transaction)They were horrendous - avoid.
