Tax credits not been paid AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm venting some anger here. Me and my husband both work full time. He started a new job in March 2010 so i rang to update the details. Waited for payment on the usual date as i was told on the phone the date wouldn't change and what do you know, no payment. Rang again to confirm details, was told my husband wasn't down as being in employment so thats why payment had stopped. Updated details again, payments restarted July 2010. All going well till we get a letter at christmas asking us to confirm our work situation, sent letter back and also rang to confirm. Everything seemed fine until today when the payment of working tax was due and no payment. Rang them and was told theres no records of either my husband or me being in employment EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! So once again i update details and i'm told its all done and paperwork will be sent but don't know when payments will restart. I am so utterly sick of this, having to ring and chase them. We rely on that money to bump our wages up. And don't get me started on the call charges and waiting ten minutes to get through. Has anybody else experienced anything similar? I feel your pain i really do.

HI,I posted a long and irate post regarding TC'S absolute shiteness when my dp died last year.They were unhelpful to say the least.

My advice fwiw
1)Contact your local CAB for assistance,take in all your letters etc.They can contact CAB on your behalf.
2)When you do ring them,make a note of the date,time and get the full name of the person you spoke too,can be useful in keeping a record.
3)If you ask the person on the phone they do have a complaints address.I sent a letter about their absolutely shocking customer "service" to a newly bereaved person.
