I called to ask for tax credit claim pack, and they told me i need to attend an interview. They mentoioned the place but i dun remember them mentioning the date and time. Has anyone attenededan interview before, and did they mention the date or are we suppose to drop by in the given address and have an interview??

Call back and ask exactly what the interview is for. Usually, it's enough to submit the forms to make a claim. The interview may soemthing very innocent like market research, for example, and you could be able to decline. But an 'interview under caution' means something entirely different.

I was also asked to attend the HRMC office when I requested a claim pack after ds was born. It was simply to verify my identity as their systems couldn't identify me. Was asked to bring passport and driving license, nothing to worry about!
