Just wondering how many days it takes to clear, I obviously want it to be paid on time, when do I need to go and pay it?

Thanks

Depends how you are paying it...?

Can I pay it over the phone without the piece of paper? Because I've just looked for the piece of paper and can't actually find it, now I know I won't have thrown it away so it will be here somewhere, it's probably just a bit early for my brain to be working.

As long as you have your reference number then yes. If you don't then basically it's your 10 digit UTR with a K stuck on the end. UTR = unique tax reference and should be on any bit of paper you get from HMRC

If paying by phone I assume you're paying by debit or credit car rather than internet banking?
