will a one off income payt affect tax credits

I received a payment from my employers to cover accrued holiday pay and have informed the tax credit helpline. Will this affect next years credits?

anything different to before has an impact, but it depends on what bands you fit into in the place. Give them a ring and ask them, they've always been very helpful to me on the phone
