I have a 10 year old daughter from my previous marriage ( I am now remarried and we have a ds) and I get £160 per month from her dad (he is also remarried but has no other children), he also buys her bits and pieces of clothing, shoes etc when he is feeling generous.

charliebat · 03/10/2005 13:35

dp was paying 75 per week for his son till we got reassesed and now its nothing.

gigglinggoblin · 03/10/2005 13:39

nothing at all because xp is happy to sit on his backside claiming dole his whole life.

auntymandy · 03/10/2005 13:42

CSA

FeelingOld · 03/10/2005 13:49

It was the CSA who assessed my ex-h.
He started off paying me £150 per month but after a couple of months I increased my hours at work so that I could claim the then called WFTC and so had to fill in forms for CSA and they upped it to £160. Must say he has never not paid or quibbled over the amount.
My dh pays £80 per month to his ex for his son (again set by CSA), I presume it is less cos we have our ds and they take other children into consideration.

auntymandy · 03/10/2005 14:03

I'm not sure what my DX earns so cant do the sums!!!
He has reduced mine alot over the last couple of years and I want to ask him for an increase!

I have tried with CSA for the past 3 years but no joy!!!!
ex gives me £50 per month and he earns over a thousand per month!!!!!!!
He does not have any other kids and lives with his girlfriend who also works full time on good money. They rent a small 2 bedroomed flat of which chloe has her own room as goes one night at the weekend.
he knows he should be paying more, but he is taking the piss!!!!!!!!
he knows that i am in financial hardship, but he doesn't give a toss!!!!1
I would stop him from seeing her until he pays more, that ain't fair on her, and as far as the CSA go, they are a useless bag of W*K*S.
Oh well never mind, i'll get him back one day!!!

auntymandy · 03/10/2005 14:21

£50 maybe I shouldnt complain!

I get sweet FA as my x refuses to acknowledge my ds. CSA say they can't prove that he is working(cash in hand) so I don't get anything.
Haven't seen the B@$%*d for 2 years now and I don't care.

Lmccrean · 03/10/2005 14:29

£180, including money to cover the 2years of arrears. he has never seen dd, not even a scan (he had moved to england before i had 1st scan)

auntymandy · 03/10/2005 14:32

I get 340 for 3 children

OP posts:
Lasvegas · 03/10/2005 15:44

£182 via CSA a week for one DD. It is a joke it costs me £900 a week in childcare alone of course mortgage, bills, food etc also to buy. X has nothing to do with her so he probably feels agrieved that he has to pay at all. My DP on other hand voluntarily pays £1,200 a month for 2 DS who don't need need any childcare as they are at school and their mum is at home. Whole thing is a lottery!

myalias · 03/10/2005 16:55

My friend gets £700 for 3 children

piffle · 03/10/2005 17:10

nothing nada sweet FA
CSA = Cannot Sort Anything
Self employed musician appears to earn nothing but still got a mortage as large as ours
It's really starting to piss me off as exp (we're all on good terms) was broke for years which was ok for him not to pay as he was good with ds.
Now he takes him on 3-4 holidays a year yet dp and I have not had one in 3 years dd has never had one and shes 3 this month.
