Provisional Tax credit awards still not final?

Hi, I am curious how many of us renewed before the dead line (my example i renewed mid July), quite quickly received our award but this time says provisional award.

Still to date waiting for the final award.

I phoned last week to be told that there was no apparent reason why I haven't received my final award and the advisor was referring my case to processing / technical department?

Everything is still the same, except a slight change in salary but about £100.

Is anyone else still waiting to finalise, the advisor tells me that the awards are taking longer.

You begin to worry if the PAYE errors that have been highlighted are linked also, ie new systems?

Your comments or info would be most appreciated.

When I phoned them back all they say is that nothing at all is wrong and its technical issues and a little comment was made about staffing issues.

Its crazy cause whilst nothing is different I daren't plan anything in case due to all horror stories you read.

That is bad if you are missing out on dinners, have you phoned. Be warned though I waited over 20 mins on hold. Longer than when i renewed.
