I gave up work 4 years ago when i ha my son. I had been paying into a company pension but this stopped when i left. it has suddenly occurred to me that i should have made other pension arrangements but not sure what to do.

I have about 10 years pension contributions - one to a comapny i was with for 5 years (but left 10 years ago) andthe place i worked before having ds>

Any suggestions of what i should do? No plans to go back to work ft atm

I'm a SAHM and I have a stakeholder pension with my bank which we pay into each month.

You should also check if it's worth topping up your National Insurance contributions for entitlement to a state pension as well - see here
