pay the contract upfront?

Charlee · 26/08/2005 14:46

yeah we could do that but for both the phones its going to be well over £400 as they wont let us move the price plan down think were buggered!

why won't they let u move it down? do u have any relatives who would let u use their acc/address? then u guys put x amount in (althou then u'd have exch diffs. might be worht keeping ur £acc open till the contracts finished but changing the address to a relatives one.

looks like were going to have to pain though as we have to pay transfer charges from a NZ bank to UK one, but looks like we have no choice

charlee, advertise the remainder of the contract on www.gumtree.com. It's a website full of ozzies kiwis and safas who are here temporarily and looking for things like short term contracts. Just make sure that you are allowed to change the name with your service provider.
Anyway, if that doesn't work, why don't you just keep you uk bank account open and set up online banking and cancel paper statements. It will make no difference if you stay registered at your old uk address.
