I have read another book by this author and I must say I wondered what all the fuss was about (whole series of best-selling books).

I finished this one, as there was a bit of a mystery to keep you going, but tbh it was a total let-down/anti-climax at the end.

The pseudo philosophical musings and the random anecdotes about Scotland got on my nerves and I mostly skipped over them, although I found myself thinking about some of the "issues" it raised, but thought there were too many to tackle any one in any depth.

I don't regret reading the book because it didn't demand any particular effort, but I was left feeling a little short-changed at the end.

Will be interested to see what others make of it.

Nobody is writing about this one? Why not?

Well, what to say!

This book was a gentle, easy read. Nothing heavy. I liked the way the author likes people and writes in a way that makes you like the characters. Not a dynamic storyline, but enjoyable non-the-less. Not sure I will be running to the bookstore for any more from this author though.

Yes I don't know why no-one has written about this one? I sent it onto flying cloud but I don't think she finished it?

I got it from wtd who didn't finish it either?
