My book is "Little Boy Lost" by Marghanita Laski.
I first read this about 10 years ago, I saw a glowing review in a newspaper which said it was a largely undiscovered and tender novel. It is set a few years after the second world war and deals with a father's search in France for the son he only ever saw once, as a baby.
This book made me cry several times, especially at the end. It made me think about what life must have been life in France and how the French people got on with one another knowing that some had collaborated with the Germans.
I hope that you all enjoy it (but please don't cry as much as I did!)
