Well. First off I swear I don't only read Richard and Judy book club books. Honest. It is just that the 2 I have offered up for the circle happen to be!
This one I rather liked. Not sure it would save my life though but I liked the story. I gradually warmed to the central character as initially I found him a bit irritating. But then as he is trying to reconnect with is life/friends I wonder whether that is intentional. Some of the situations he finds himself in are funny, some sad, some frankly unbelievable, but all in all a book I enjoyed reading.
And I like the cover.
Always good to judge a book by its cover!!
