Some of you may see my post but basically I’m trying to get out of a riot and have a lot of struggles. Concentration is shot but I do find I can get into an audio book with a shorty walk or when chilling out doing a hobby.

Ive been njoued rhe Odd Thomas serious, Wathchers and Phantoms by Dean Koontz (in really hoping the isn’t some underlying issue rug means I should boycott him 🤣). He has an extensive catalogue so any recommendations would be great.

I have also written Stephen king in the past and loved some - Green Mile, Shawshank redemption (I was amazed when I found out they were films … and good ones! Was like Christmas come as one when my then foster mother located the vcrs for me!)

Happy to take any other recommendations, I just know there’s a lot there untapped with just those to.

basically I am looking for NON-ROMANTIC stories (okay, there will always be some aspect, but not central. Like horror and scify and thrillers xx

Thank you SO much if you can help 😙

Give Jonathan Kellerman, Harlan Coben and Peter Robinson a try. I love Odd Thomas, there's a movie of the first book too.
